ALERT: New Facebook Dislike Button Is A Scam

It appears as though the scammers are becoming pretty clever with the latest scam on Facebook being an application which claims to enable a dislike button within feed stories. While the application doesn’t appear to harm users, it quietly updates their status without the user being aware. Users are then prompted to complete a quiz, which will eventually result in the user losing money after they enter their mobile phone number.

After completing the process (as first illustrated by Graham Cluley), users are redirected to install the FaceMod Firefox add-on which provides a dislike button add-on.
