Roll Call: PepsiCo, Idea Grove, Weber Shandwick, and More

Jim Wilkinson has joined PepsiCo as EVP of communications, leading the company’s comms team. He’ll report directly to company CEO Indra Nooyi. Wilkinson joins from Brunswick Group where he had been a managing partner since 2009. He also previously served as Chief of Staff for U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson.

Former Weber Shandwick SVP Reg Rowe has joined Idea Grove as an SVP. He had been an SVP at Weber for seven years before his position (and others) was cut in February, according to PRWeek.

At Weber Shandwick, they’ve named Brooke Shepard executive creative director, leading the creative services team in Seattle. The position includes management of the video production and graphics teams as well as leading the strategy behind digital efforts. Shepard has worked with the firm’s technology and consumer teams for 15 years.

Alan Araujo has joined MWW Group as SVP and director of social strategy, managing the social media team in the Dialogue Digital practice group. Previously, Araujo spent 12 years at Porter Novelli. He served as SVP in charge of the digital strategy, production, and creative teams while there.

At MWW, Jessica Shearer has also been promoted to VP, director of marketing, leading the firm’s marketing efforts and helping as the agency implements additional and expanded programs. Shearer joined the firm in 2009.

IMRE has added a Los Angeles office to its list of of locations. Christine Costa, who has been with the firm for six years, will be GM of the office.

Berkeley, CA-based Ruby Press has undergone a rebranding. The 11-year-old firm has a new website, business cards, and other materials.

More Edelman staff news: James Turner has been chosen as head of the U.K. research division of StrategyOne. Turner was previously an ICM board director. Edelman’s E.U. operations just recently added a number of clients including G.E. and Starbucks.
