MSNBC has added Jason Trubowitz to its marketing team as senior director of media. Previously, he was SVP and strategist planning director at Starcom Mediavest.

Debra Cabal has joined Porter Novelli Public Service in Washington D.C. as EVP. Prior to joining the firm, she was GM of Financial Dynamics’ D.C. office and senior MD of public affairs for the firm.

Mark Kovscek is Converseon’s new SVP of enterprise analytics, a new role. He has previously worked at Starcom MediaVest Group building analytic solutions for P&G, and at the VivaKi Nerve Center developing products for Publicis’ agencies.

Jennifer Little has joined Rubenstein Public Relations as VP in the financial and real estate practices. She has previously served as EVP of Amies Communications.

Texas-based Androvett Legal Media and Marketing has two new VPs. Mark Annick has been promoted to the new position – VP for News and PR. And Scott Parks is the new VP for marketing and client services.

Carrie Pruyn Lang has joined OLSON as account director. She was previously VP in the consumer marketing practice at Fleishman-Hillard.

MSL San Francisco SVP Matt Gardner has been elected to serve as chair of the nonprofit organization Seeding Labs. The organization works with life sciences companies on research efforts and partnerships with scientists in developing nations.
