Push URLS From Android Phones To Google Chrome On Desktops

I've written about the ChromeToPhone app that you can use to send web page URLs and other information from Google Chrome running on a desktop to an Android phone, and there is now a version for Firefox, but you might have been wondering whether there is a way to do the same thing in reverse. Today I learned about android2cloud, which does just that, you can send a URL on your phone to a desktop computer running Chrome. Before I proceed I want to point out that android2chrome is very much in development and ought to be viewed as beta software. The developer is a college student and is developing the app as open source and learning some of the finer points of developing and publishing an app to a broader community such as Android users. You may want to review the app issues that have been posted before deciding to proceed. The process for installing and using android2cloud is pretty much the same as ChromeToPhone. First you need to install an extension in Google Chrome, then you install the Android app on your phone. The Android app adds a menu item to the Share menu in the Android browser, and to send a URL you tap Menu, More, Share page and then select android2cloud. The first time that you try using the app you will get an error because it has not been set up with your Google account. Follow the on screen instructions, leaving the default values on the first screen, which then will take you to a Google logon screen. The app uses Google's app engine that is tied to your Google account, which is how the app knows how to route a URL from your phone to your desktop web browser. Once everything is set up and working the process is pretty quick. You share the URL from your phone and it shortly loads in Google Chrome on your browser. I've just been playing around with the app this evening, but one thing I tried is queing up a few web pages while Chrome is shut down. My idea for how I will use android2cloud is that as I come across a web page on my phone during the day I will send them to my desktop to read later. What I found is that only the last URL that you send is retained to be opened in the desktop browser, though that page does load successfully when I start up Chrome.
