On today’s social media edition of the Morning Media Menu, GalleyCat editor Jason Boog looked at the upcoming third book in the Bridget Jones series, in which the titular character will experiment with social media and wackiness will likely ensue.

When we first met Bridget in 1996, she was sending flirty emails to her boss at work. More than a decade later, she’s still rewriting the rules of modern romance.

Later in the podcast, we talked about Facebook’s growing music library thanks to a new integration with Pandora that could bring even more music recommendations to the space currently filled with tracks from Spotify and Rdio.

Finally, we examined a not-so-distant future in which our jobs are done by robots. Beep boop.
