Facebook’s Oculus VR Deal Gets OK From FTC
The Federal Trade Commission approved Facebook’s acquisition of immersive virtual reality technology company Oculus VR -- maker of the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset -- in a deal worth about $2 billion, which was originally announced late last month, Reuters reported.

Facebook said in its announcement of the deal in March that more than 75,000 orders have been placed for Oculus Rift development kits, adding that it plans to help Oculus expand into verticals including communications, media and entertainment, and education.
