Nymag.com Taps Brodesser-Akner as Vulture West Coast Editor
Nymag.com is branching out to the West Coast, announcing that Claude Brodesser-Akner joined the company as West Coast editor of its Vulture entertainment and culture blog.
Brodesser-Akner, the site’s first editorial hire on the West Coast, has reported on the movie industry for Variety, Wired, Ad Age and TMZ; covered TV stations for Mediaweek; served as a Broadway theater reporter for Variety; hosted weekly public radio show The Business on KCRW in Southern California and other NPR affiliates; and, most important, served as co-editor of mediabistro.com‘s
