New Hires in Mobile: Apple, Gameloft, ngmoco:)

Hiring in the mobile apps sector was up in the first week of the new year, with 22 new hires and promotions spread amongst 11 companies. Based on information from LinkedIn and other sources, Gameloft and GREE lead this week’s hires with 9 new faces between them. By far this week’s highest profile hire was Apple’s appointment of Todd Teresi to lead its iAd product. Teresi joins Apple from Adobe, where he was the vice president of media solutions. Thierry Lecat, Lead Video Game Producer/Project Manager - Lecat starts 2012 with a promotion from his previous position as a senior video game producer/project manager at Gameloft. Funzio Aaron Pang, Software Engineer Intern - Pang was formerly an iOS Developer at Gazoo Mobile Inc. Glu Mobile Jeff Zahir, Customer Insights Analyst - Zahir moves from a research position at Washington State Employment Security Department to join Glu Mobile as a customer insights analyst. GREE Daryl Nelson, Software Engineer, Mobile Integration and Support - Nelson comes to GREE from Liaison Technologies, where he was a software engineer, master data management. Phillip Fong, Senior Manager, Developer Relations - Fong was previously a business development manager at Hewlett-Packard. Miljean Young, Marketing Project Manager - Young was an international project lead at Become, Inc. Jonathan Chan, IT Support Specialist - Chan comes to GREE from Facebook, where he was a client systems administrator. Vladimir Eberman, Sr. Systems Administrator - Eberman was formerly a computer systems engineer at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Stanislav Vishnevskiy, Senior Software Engineer - Vishnevskiy leaves Kabam to join the OpenFeint team as a senior software engineer. InMobi Sandhya Surendran, Legal Counsel - Surendran was previously the senior associate legal counsel at Infosys. Julien Theodose, Sales Manager - Theodose was an assistant responsable de clientèle pôle mobile at HAVAS DIGITAL. Jeffrey Simmons, Campaign Executive - Simmons was previously a Project Manager at helloU. Kontagent Owen Martin, Data Scientist - Kontagent makes a single hire this week, bringing on Martin from RSA Group, where he was a senior statistician. ngmoco:) Malte Hildingsson, Senior Programmer - ngmoco:) continues to add staff to its new Swedish studio, making three high profile hires from EA owned studio DICE.
