National Geographic Launches Fancy iPhone Atlas App
It’s the whole world for two bucks ($1.99, to be exact). National Geographic‘s newest app, a comprehensive world atlas that takes advantage of all of iPhone’s features (including GPS), has just gone live in the App Store.
Unusual features include seven levels of cartography, and, most interestingly, a partnership with Microsoft to provide access to seven more layers of mapping through Bing (there have been rumors, today, by the way, that Apple is in talks with Microsoft to replace Google with Bing as the default search engine for the iPhone).
