MarketWatch Launches Video Series Media Matters

New online-video series Media Matters launched Monday on MarketWatch with a conversation between host and MarketWatch media columnist Jon Friedman and IMAX CEO Rich Gelfond at Michael’s New York restaurant in midtown Manhattan, during which Gelfond discussed IMAX’s Hollywood entry, the success of Avatar, and the future of IMAX and 3-D technology.

Next up for the ongoing interview series with newsmakers from film, television, radio, print, and online journalism: a two-part interview Monday, March 15, with Ken Auletta, writer of the Annals of Communications column for The New Yorker and author of Googled: The End of the World As We Know It.
