Kindle for Blackberry App Out Today

Amazon’s been slowly rolling out Kindle apps for various devices, including PCs and the iPhone. Today, it made its app available for Blackberry Smartphones. The app can be downloaded for free from Amazon here.

These Kindle apps are pretty cool. If you’ve got a Kindle, you can sync your eBooks across your Kindle and other devices, so you’re always on the same page, no matter what device you’re using at the moment–it’s nice if you’re waiting in line without your Kindle but have your phone in your pocket. If you don’t own a Kindle, the apps offer access to all the books–though not the periodicals–in the Kindle Store.

Now if Apple would only deliver its long-promised Kindle app for Mac, then all would be right with the world.
