Joe Simon Says: I'm Leaving Viacom for Condé Nast

As reported by sister blog FishbowlNY, Condé Nast is turning to a Viacom veteran to lead its development of next-generation digital products and services, tapping Viacom chief information officer Joe Simon for the role of chief technology officer.

Simon led worldwide technology and operations for MTV Networks, BET Networks, and Paramount Pictures. Prior to the separation of Viacom and CBS, he also oversaw worldwide technology for the CBS Network, CBS and Paramount television stations, Paramount television, radio (Infinity, Westwood One, CBS Radio), Simon and Schuster, and Viacom Outdoor.
