iTunes Store Gets Some Orange County Flavor with OC METRO Headlines App

California business magazine OC METRO is bringing a little bit of Orange County to the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad, with parent company Churm Media announcing the release of the OC METRO Headlines app.
The app will provide real-time access to OC METRO stories about Orange County-based companies, as well as the ability for users to save items, email them, and share them via social-media platforms. Sunwest Bank is sponsoring the app.
Churm Media CEO and OC METRO publisher Steve Churm said:

It’s fitting that as OC METRO celebrates 20 years of delivering news and information to Orange County’s entrepreneurs and executives, this newest content-delivery vehicle is launched. It reflects the aggressive push the company is making on the digital front. Our goal is to make our content available to our audience wherever they are and in whatever format they prefer: print, online at ocmetro.com, through our digital magazine, or via their mobile device.
