Instagram: Here’s How to Use the Quiz Sticker in Stories

Instagram's new quiz sticker is available to all iOS and Android users Instagram

Instagram added a quiz sticker to Stories this week, allowing users to ask their viewers quiz questions. Our guide will show you how this sticker works.

Step 1: Once you’ve taken or imported a photo or video into Stories, tap the Sticker icon near the top-right corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap the quiz sticker.

Step 3: Type the question you wish to ask. Note: If you want to see question suggestions, tap the dice icon under the quiz sticker. Each time you tap the dice, Instagram will fill in the question area with a different question or prompt, such as, “What would I name a pet turtle?” and “Guess my favorite ice cream.”

Step 4: Tap “Option 1” and type your first possible answer.

Step 5: Tap “Option 2” and type your second possible answer.

Step 6 (optional): You’re only required to add two possible answers, but you can have up to four. Tap “Add” to add Option 3 to your question, and then tap “Add” again if you wish to add a fourth option.

Step 7 (optional): Instagram will automatically highlight one of the answers as the correct answer. If the answer it chooses is incorrect, tap the letter to the left of the correct answer.

Step 8 (optional): To change the sticker’s color, tap the colorful circle at the top of the screen. You can tap the circle multiple times to view different colors.

Step 9: When you’re done editing your sticker, tap “Done” in the top-right corner of the screen.

From there, you can resize, rotate and drag the sticker around the screen to best fit your post before sharing it. If you need to edit the sticker before sharing your post, tap it.
