Facebook maintained its social login dominance in the third quarter of 2014, accounting for 58 percent of overall social logins and 62 percent of those originating from mobile devices, according to the latest research from Gigya, a Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer and consumer-management provider.
Facebook maintained its social login dominance in the third quarter of 2014, accounting for 58 percent of overall social logins and 62 percent of those originating from mobile devices, according to the latest research from Gigya, a Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer and consumer-management provider.
Mirroring results from the second quarter, Google Plus was once again a distant second, at 24 percent of overall social logins and 28 percent from mobile.
Facebook topped all five categories Gigya chose to break out:
- Education/nonprofit: 77 percent
- E-commerce: 72 percent
- Travel/hospitality: 69 percent
- Consumer brands: 66 percent
- Media/publishers: 51 percent
