Ah, the Kiss Cam. That wonderful bit of silliness that finds unsuspecting couples in the stands, puts them on the scoreboard and pressures them to awkwardly kiss. But it isn’t just silly is it? It’s actually kinda homophobic, dontcha’ think?
Well, Oakland A’s pitcher Brandon McCarthy thinks so – and tweeted as much after a game in Anaheim.
It seems some folks still think aiming the Kiss Cam at same-sex pairs and prompting them to smooch is funny – but only if they’re not gay, of course.
