The European Union is considering a new antitrust complaint against Google’s Android mobile operating system, the EU competition commissioner, Joaquín Almunia said, according to a New York Times report.

EU officials had already been investigating Android in addition to their more publicized inquiry into Google’s search engine, Almunia said. The EU has been more exacting with the search giant than the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. Google is reportedly in the process of finalizing changes it will make to its search results to meet the commission’s standards.
