Free Online Dive Into HBO's The Pacific
Premium cable network HBO is offering the first episode of new series The Pacific free-of-charge via its new HBO Go streaming service in an effort to attract new subscribers.
The Pacific is a 10-part series from the creators of HBO’s Band of Brothers.
Viewers must enter their names, genders, ages, and email addresses prior to the free streaming, Silicon Alley Insider reported, adding that an HBO spokesperson said there are no plans to offer the HBO Go service to online users without cable subscriptions.
