Facebook is testing some tweaks to the Your Time on Facebook activity dashboard it introduced in August 2018 to help users control how much time they spend on the social network.

Your Time on Facebook lets people know how much time they have spent on the social network and gives them the ability to set daily reminders when they reach a time limit that they pre-determine, along with a way to mute push notifications for a specified period of time.

Blogger and developer Jane Manchun Wong discovered a new feature being tested, Quiet Mode, with two options: Quiet Mode for a specific amount of time, and Scheduled Quiet Mode.

She shared screenshots in a tweet.

Facebook communications manager for engineering in Europe, the Middle East and Africa Alexandru Voica told Wong the feature has been in testing for a few months, and the social network plans to continue testing it.
