Facebook Stifles Hiccup In Profile-To-Page Conversion

Facebook has sorted out some technical issues that appear to have affected whether people could convert profiles into pages.

The site’s official developer blog states plainly, “We’ve resolved the previously mentioned latency and loading issues.”

Performance on the site had dramatically slowed down this morning, as the chart to the right shows.

Around the time of the slowing down, we’d heard from a reader who received error messages when attempting to convert her profile to a page.
