Facebook is adding its Safety Check feature to its favorites menu, giving users quicker access.
The social network said in a Disaster Response on Facebook post that users now have “a single place to go to see where Safety Check has recently been activated, get the information you need and potentially be able to help affected areas.”
The feature will be rolled out gradually “in the upcoming weeks,” starting Tuesday.
Facebook introduced Safety Check in October 2014, and vice president of social good Naomi Gleit said in a Newsroom post in June that it has been activated more than 600 times.
