Pinterest and TikTok can rest a little easier, as the Facebook NPE Team revealed last week that it will shut down its experimental applications that were inspired by the two platforms—Hobbi and Lasso, respectively—July 10.
Facebook confirmed the shuttering of the two apps, saying that they were experimental in nature, and admitting that they didn’t catch on with users.
Hobbi debuted for iOS in February, and its description on the iTunes App Store read, “Capture and organize your creative process: Save photos of the projects you’re working on and the activities you love to do.
