Facebook introduced Reactions for Messenger March 23, and the social network announced Wednesday that more than 2 billion have been sent.
Reactions launched for Facebook via mobile and desktop in February 2016.
Facebook shared the following Messenger Reactions data with Social Pro Daily:
- Users were more likely to send positive Reactions (Love, Smile) than negative ones (Sad, Angry).
- Younger millennials (aged 18 through 24) send reactions twice as frequently as older age groups and are more likely to send a wider range of Reactions.
