New Plant Relies On Facebook Interactions For Survival

I love the idea behind this quirky artwork at The Edge in Brisbane, Australia. It’s called “Meet Eater” and creator Bashkim Isai set up the project with the goal of re-establishing the connection between humans and plants.

The artwork – a garden with two pots containing herbs – is installed at The Edge, a digital culture centre at the State Library of Queensland in Brisbane. The plants receive water and nutrients based on the interactions they receive on Facebook.
