Facebook Audience Network Publishers and Developers Must Upgrade Their SDKs

Publishers and developers using Facebook Audience Network must upgrade to the newest software-development kit for the mobile ad network by March 3, 2020.

The social network said in a blog post that upgrading will bring access to the newest features and format iterations, as well as improving stability and helping publishers and developers maximize their ad revenue on the platform.

Facebook said it gave publishers and developers until March 3, 2020, in order to ensure that they had enough time to migrate users to new versions of their applications, adding that support for older versions of the SDK will be eliminated on that date, and apps that have not been upgraded will lose out on revenue.

The company said it plans to establish a regular cadence of SDK updates over time.
