Facebook Acquires Whatapp for $19 Billion After Turning Down a Job for its Founder
The biggest news yesterday was from one of the largest acquisition in technology companies in recent history – the purchase of Whatsapp for $19 billion by Facebook. What’s more, $3.2 billion of that cash purchase went to one of Whatsapp’s co-founder, Brian Acton, an engineer who was turned down by Facebook in 2009.
Facebook turned me down. It was a great opportunity to connect with some fantastic people. Looking forward to life’s next adventure.
