ETX Racing’s NASCAR Manager speeds onto iOS, Android

With the start of another NASCAR season, ETX Racing has announced the release of NASCAR Manager on iOS and Android devices. The officially licensed NASCAR game sees players taking part in the week-to-week build up to The Chase, as players manage their vehicle and team, creating the best car setup and using the strategies necessary to win each race.

In NASCAR Manager, players take over their favorite team, and can update their driver’s car with engine customizations, new chassis, brakes and more. While the title isn’t a racing game, players will have an impact on each race’s outcome, and are given the ability to rewind races to improve their performance.

As players customize their vehicles, they’ll be able to research new technologies and items with the funds they’ve earned while playing. These research events take time to complete, but can be sped up instantly with premium currency.

NASCAR Manager is similar to ETX Racing’s NASCAR: Redline, another strategy game released last fall. While both games will continue to be supported going forward, NASCAR: Redline will remain a pay-to-play title (it currently costs $2.99), while NASCAR Manager is free-to-play.

In addition, NASCAR Manager offers features its predecessor does not, including a Speedweeks mode of challenges to help players get up to speed with the game before diving into the full experience. NASCAR Manager also offers a stronger focus on the overall points standings for each team throughout the 2014 season, rather than focusing more on individual races, as is the case with Redline.

NASCAR Manager is now available to download for free on iOS, Google Play and the Amazon App Store. Check back soon to follow the game on AppData, our tracking platform for mobile and social apps and developers.
