What’s the difference between a successful startup and an idea that never gets realized? Execution. Some would even say that ideas are worthless without execution. In the startup world, if you don’t know how to execute your idea, you can be certain your startup will never become a company.

Elevatr is a new app to guide startups through the process of experimentation and business plan development, to go from idea to viable business. According to VentureBeat, Elevatr started out as a “brainstorm helper” but made a pivot of it’s own. Instead of just tracking ideas, now Elevatr connects startup entrepreneurs with people who can help them with things like business strategy and development.

“Think of it as something akin to a self-help consultancy firm. The company takes a commission from service providers it connects you with, but you don’t pay any fees to Elevatr directly,” writes VentureBeat contributor Devindra Hardawar.

To date, Elevatr has more than 80,000 users, tracking nearly 120,000 ideas — five of which have even launched with the help of the app.
