David Foster Wallace In The Margins

The papers of David Foster Wallace have been sold to the Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas at Austin. Turns out, unsurprisingly, the king of footnotes was an obsessive writer of his own notes-in-the-margin of his books, as you can see from the image above, a digital scan of Wallace’s copy of Don Delillo’s Players. Harry Ransom Center has posted a number of scans of Wallace’s books–they’re very worth checking out.
