Social sharing platform provider Clearspring today unveiled the latest redesign of their AddThis analytics suite for publishers. These tools help companies identify what users share, the number of clicks those shares have driven and the topics that interest your sharers, influencers and clickers the most.

In short, Clearspring’s AddThis is designed to make it easy for users to share web content across several social properties including Facebook, Twitter, Posterous, Tumblr and others. AddThis also has a large network of publishers that reaches over 1B unique monthly users around the globe. People come on publishers site, sees content they like, shares it with their friends across the social web. Some of the friends that see these links and click back. AddThis gives publishers insight into which users are sharing what and who is clicking through. AddThis, similar to data Youtube analytics provides, can give insight into content sharing such as correlations between shares and clicks. Viral content is automatically flagged and the platform even provides a geographic map similar to the kind found in Google Analytics.

Clearspring’s currently in the know of what users are sharing as it has garnered data from over 1B uniques and looking to help publishers optimize content based on what is shared the most by influencers and help publishers drive traffic back to their site. Clearspring’s Interest Graph is behind the next generation of AddThis, utilizing a real-time data processing engine that maps connections between people and what they care about the most.

Clearspring is clearly looking to differentiate from Facebook’s recently created Interest Graph by providing data that stems from actual user behavior versus simple user likes. Clearspring first announced its Audience Platform, powered by its Implicit Graph Technology, in August earlier this year. The Audience Platform, comprised of an array of online ad exchanges and demand-side platforms, has a network of over 210MM users that brand advertisers can reach.
