CBSSports.com, Facebook 'Farm Out' Fantasy Football
FarmVille for football fans? CBSSports.com and Facebook are betting both real and virtual dollars that Franchise Football might just work.
WebNewser editor Alex Weprin, who is also editor of new sister blog SportsNewser, reported for the latter that Franchise Football will feature real National Football League players in statistically accurate simulated games, with players receiving virtual cash or “reputation points.” Facebook developer Fantasy Moguls developed the game with CBSSports.com.
