Books Outnumber Games in App Store
There are more book apps in Apple’s app store than games now, according to developer blog MobClix. The blog’s data shows that there are currently about 26,500 book apps and 25,000 games.
So does this mean gamers are turning to more literary distractions? Probably not. App developers working on book apps, let’s not forget, have a back catalog thousands of years old to draw on, so there’s no lack of titles, or versions of various public domain books.
