Anne Rice Signs On with Vook
Anne Rice, author of ‘Interview with a Vampire,’ as well as many other vampire-type novels, has signed an agreement with Vook to produce a multimedia version of “The Master of Rampling Gate,” a 1984 short story published in Redbook magazine. This partnership merges two of the most popular fronts in the vampire craze: movies and books. Now if they can add some comics to the package, they’ll have the whole market cornered.
In a statement released by Vook today, Rice said, “Vook represents a very exciting combination of new technological elements, that I think is long overdo in publishing.
