Tax Day in the U.S. is rapidly approaching. While the larger tax preparation services like H&R Block and Turbo Tax have already ventured onto social media to reach out to customers, a recent study shows that accountants at independent firms are being left behind.
Analysts at SMBDigitalScape by VSplash have found that 96 percent of tax preparers don’t have a LinkedIn page, 95 percent are not on Twitter, 91 percent are not on Facebook, 99 percent are not on YouTube, and 90 percent don’t even have a blog.
