4INFO Signs Football Teams for Mobile Alerts
Mobile media company 4INFO has signed exclusive mobile publishing deals with the Green Bay Packers, the New York Jets, the Indianapolis Colts and the Washington Redskins football teams.
The company plans to integrate these teams into its existing publishing platform, in order to let fans sign up for free news alerts, mobile games, and player stats from their cell phones. The mobile content is all ad-supported. The alerts range in scope from player changes to score updates, quarter end updates, and news broadcasts and ticket promotions.
