A new report from Credit Suisse outlines four factors fueling growth

While 12 months of lockdown have no doubt left plenty of people feeling sluggish and a bit heavier, demand for health and wellness products and services are showing no sign of slowing down.

Analysts forecast the worldwide market for nutritious food and exercise equipment will surpass $6.8 trillion by 2024, up 19% compared to nearly $5.8 trillion this year, according to a new report from investment bank Credit Suisse.

Although health and wellness spending was growing prior to Covd-19, last year people took a serious look at “how they take care of their bodies and their minds,” said Kaumil Gajrawala, a managing director at Credit Suisse and author of the report.
