This is an issue French broadcaster Canal+ highlights in its campaign as people stare over others’ shoulders and around doors to catch the real-time action.
With UEFA Champion’s League and Formula One alongside other sports, such as Premier League soccer and Top 14 rugby, the subscription-based French broadcaster is promoting its line-up using two TV spots that feature men finding ways to watch a match in a less than subtle manner, for free.
