LONDON—The Royal Albert Hall, in London’s upmarket South Kensington, has played host to some of the world’s greatest musicians, events and exhibitions since it was opened by Queen Victoria in 1871.

To mark its 150th anniversary this year, the Royal Albert Hall has released a powerful, hopeful and emotive 90-second film that pays tribute to Britain’s world-famous live music scene, of which it has played an important part.

Narrated by Mick Jagger and featuring archival footage of some of the greatest acts on the planet—Bob Dylan, Freddie Mercury, Adele, Jimi Hendrix, Diana Ross, George Michael and Luciano Pavarotti—the ad celebrates the power, passion and legacy of live music.
