Ludacris Will Star in Mercedes-Benz’s Super Bowl Spot

It seems that not all celebrities will be sitting out of the Big Game this year.

Grammy Award winning musician and actor Ludacris (who is an Atlanta native) is set to star in Mercedes-Benz’s fifth Super Bowl ad. The rapper is known for being a Mercedes-Benz owner, making him the perfect fit for the brand’s return to the Big Game.

The 60-second spot will feature the brand’s new A-Class vehicle, a new, more affordable model for the brand that starts $32,500. No other details about the spot were shared at this time.

As part of the announcement, Ludacris dropped by the Ron Clark Academy—an Atlanta-based school that incorporates music and dance techniques into its teaching plans—to surprise students and give away Super Bowl tickets to two lucky students.
