And while dating apps did their best to foster virtual connections amid lockdown, hesitant daters made the wedding industry a bit nervous. It’s that sentiment that inspired Match’s latest spot, a musical number starring a dozen out-of-work wedding singers serenading the dating public—begging them to please, for the love of all things matrimonial, go meet somebody.
