Albert Heijn, the largest supermarket chain in the Netherlands, has gone a slightly different route with its annual commercial, taking the spotlight off the biggest mammals and putting it on the smallest.

In this delightful mini-movie, two animated rodents fall head-over-heels for each other. Scoff if you will, but this hamster love story is a perfect seasonal snack—just the right amount of sweetness and sentimentality with no saccharine aftertaste.
