Effective Sept. 1, Droga will take over from Whipple, who has led the creative division within the consultancy for the past decade.

In the newly created role, Droga, who sold his agency Droga5 to Accenture in April 2019, will be charged with driving creative excellence, customer experience and business innovation within the global consultancy.

In a statement, Julie Sweet, CEO of Accenture, thanked Whipple for “his foundational role” in building Accenture Interactive.
