McCann New York quietly placed the now famous “Fearless Girl” statue across from the iconic Wall Street “Charging Bull” statue on International Women’s Day for client State Street Global Advisors. Most of the world was enamored with the statue of the girl, but sculptor Arturo Di Modica, who made the bull statue, was not.
The artist, who felt the “Fearless Girl” was not really a piece of art but rather an ad, was especially displeased to learn it would stand defiantly across from his bull through February
