Verizon Names Rose Kirk as VP of PR for Corporate Reputation
Rose Kirk is moving from VP of sales and operations of Verizon Wireless, to VP of public relations for corporate reputation for the telco giant. She will lead strategy, implementation and measurement of communications focused on Verizon’s CSR, philanthropy and sustainability initiatives.
Kirk has also held VP positions in corporate employee communications, and in partner sales and customer service for Verizon’s small to medium business segment.
She is currently a member of Arkansas State’s — her alma mater — Advisory Board for the College of Communications, as well chair of the Board of Directors for the National Domestic Violence Hotline.
In 1986, Kirk moved from journalism to communications as an industry speechwriter.
