Decisive Launches Advertising API to Help Developers Promote Apps

Mobile advertising company Decisive has announced its new API, which aims to solve the challenges developers face when promoting their apps. The Decisive Advertising API allows developers to use their coding skills to create and manage advertising campaigns, even on small budgets. The platform allows developers to access multiple ad networks using the API, and provides them with performance analytics for complete transparency.

The Decisive Advertising API offers access to ad networks including Google, Twitter/MoPub, Yahoo/Flurry and AOL. Using the platform’s analytics, developers can view their campaign performance based on the best or worst operating system(s), mobile carrier, or even activity based on the time of day. The platform also integrates with many tracking platforms that developers already use, such as AppsFlyer, xAd and Kochava. Finally, the API offers protection from ad fraud.

In an effort to help even the smallest developers promote their apps, developers can start with campaign budgets as low as $10.

“The API provides app developers with the tools to control one of the primary areas that is crucial to their app’s success,” said David Dundas, CEO of Decisive, in a statement. “Developers already have tools like Stripe and Parse to make building apps easy. If more apps are successful because developers feel app promotion is more accessible, then we’ve done our job.”

Decisive launched its self-serve mobile advertising platform in April 2014. To date, the company has helped 2,500 customers launch 50,000 advertising campaigns, with more than one billion impressions served each month. Interested developers can signup for the API here.
