New Hires in Mobile: GREE, InMobi and Tapjoy
Hiring in the mobile apps sector dipped slightly this week, with 14 new hires spread out across 7 companies. Based on information from LinkedIn and other sources, GREE leads the hires, bringing on six new team members. Despite a healthy amount of activity, there were no significant high profile or executive level hires to report this week.

- Camille Benyamina, 2D Artist – First up this week is EA Mobile, who make the list with the addition of Benyamina, who was an illustrator at Librairie Experience.
- Jay Doherty, 3D Artist – Glu Mobile adds two new faces this week. Doherty was formerly a senior character artist at Paragon Studios.
- John-Paul Clifton, Software Tester – Clifton moves from Foundation 9 Entertainment, where he worked in quality assurance.
- Michael Nguyen, Developer Relations Intern – GREE wins the numbers game by bringing on six new people this week. First up is Nguyen, who was previously a student at the University of California.
- Richard Davis, Senior Manager, Developer Relations – Next up is Davis who was the director/social media strategist at SourceN.
- Stephen Williams, Principal Android Engineer – Williams was previously a senior consultant at Sony Electronics.
- Erin Anderson, Sales Engineer – Anderson makes the jump from Cognizant Technology Solutions, where he was a Sr. associate.
- Lauren Fisch, Developer Relations Manager – Fisch moves from Apple, where she worked as a software applications specialist.
- Teppei Kodera, Contents Director – GREE Inc also gets in on the hires. Kodera was previously a manager at Itokuro.
- Peter Bray, Sales Support Specialist – InMobi makes our listings again with two hires this week. Bray was formerly the European training and tour manager at Contiki Holidays.
- Praveena Sukumaran, Campaign Executive – Also joining is Sukumaran, who moves from Rehane, where she worked in media and public relations.
- Joonas Mäntynen, Marketing Assets Coordinator – A single hire this week keeps Rovio on our charts. Mäntynen was previously at RealNetworks, where he worked as a video producer.
- Adam Sumner, Software Engineer – And finally Tapjoy, who also hired two people this week. Sumner was previously a software engineer at Glu Mobile.
- John Gronberg, Product Manager – Gronberg moves from Amazon, where he was a product manager intern.
