Desktop Apps Can Upload Photos to Facebook
Facebook announced on its Facebook Developers blog that desktop applications can now upload photos using the social-networking site’s open-source library, which is based on Adobe AIR technology.
Justin Bishop, a software engineer on Facebook’s Platform team, posted:
The new version of Facebook for Adobe AIR lets you drag and drop photos directly into the application. Here’s a video showing how a user can do this.
