Snooth Launches iPhone Wine Site
Snooth, the social wine database site, has added a dedicated iPhone WAP site located at iphone.snooth.com. The new site adds a “location-based shopping parameter”—meaning not GPS radio support, but a simple zip code lookup—that helps find prices and specific bottles for anyone already on the go.
Users can key in search phrases, such as “merlot under $20 for lamb” and their current zip code; the app will then go out and search for nearby liquor stores that have appropriate wines in stock.
