How Patrón Is Using Its Iconic Bee Symbol to Celebrate Día de Muertos

This time of the year is not just about spooky antics. For many in the Mexican community, Día de Muertos—or Day of the Dead—serves as a day of celebration and remembrance for family and friends that have passed away.

In celebration of tradition, Patrón and creative agency M Booth released a short film that tells the story of Patrón’s Calavera bee. The ad features a roster of Mexican creators that includes essayist and poet Isabel Zapata, unique animation by Lugar de Huida and voice narration by actor Eugenio Derbez.
