One hurdle was letting the consultant know the agency's gross operating income for the last three calendar years. Also requested were a list of 'key individuals' who should work on the business, a 'current view of the overall business, strategic and creative issues' faced by Sears and a numerical ranking by size in terms of gross income of each agency's top five clients in each of the last three calendar years.
